Influences of Social Worker`s Professional Identity on Job Satisfaction and Quality of Service in nursing home: Centered on social worker take charge of care service

Abstract
The purpose on this study is to observe influences that social worker¡¯s professional identity affects job satisfaction and quality of service in nursing home For the study, 159 social workers take charge of care service who worked at nursing homes located in Daegu were surveyed. As a result of the study, professional identity(M=3.3) and job satisfaction(M=3.3) of them showed normal levels, quality of service(M=3.9) showed high levels. Among the subordinate factor of professional identity, use of professional organization(¥â=.284), sense of mission(¥â=.274) and faith of autonomy(¥â=.180) showed significant impact about job satisfaction, also faith of autonomy(¥â=.280), faith of public service(¥â=.175) and use of professional organization(¥â=.169) affected the quality of service. we suggest there are as follows. To improve of social workers of professional identity, we need to set value to the job and job training program must be enhancing. nursing home was necessary for between job group and co-worker smoothly service performance for communication and service delivery system of establishment. Authority of care and case management for social workers should be expanded.
